I want to include a few themes in my Zine that revolve around technology. A good thing to include in one of my Photoshop collages would be a photo of one of my roommates using a VR headset. With some editing, I could turn that into an interesting image. I was also thinking about taking a bunch of Lego magazines I have and creating a collage out of that, but I'm not sure how that would fit into the theme I am going for. For some of the illustrator images, I would like to mess around with a comic book style. One Idea I had that would fit with the futuristic dystopian theme was to take images from dystopian-style books and movies and create a Photoshop image out of that. One thing I know is that I would like one or two pages of my zine to look like advertisements for some product of the future that you maybe wouldn't expect or wouldn't want to see advertised which could play into the dystopian theme. Here is a list of topics I might include in my Zine. Aliens, prescription drugs, books, insurance/healthcare/vaccines, war, fake politics (because it's

the future), technology, climate change, etc. For some of my pages, I want to feel like government propaganda. I think a challenge with the theme I am going for is going to be how to accomplish it without the use of words, but I think if I really incorporate a minimal amount of text really well into an image I can pull it off. I will definitely have to make use of symbols in place of words when I can.
