I enjoyed making this animation project a lot, and there are a few things I would have done differently if I were to make it again. I was proud of some animation sequences, particularly the walk animation and the main interaction between the two animated characters. If I were to make it again I would have more unique animations, but given the project's time constraints, I felt like it made sense to reuse animations a few times. A part of my animation I felt was weak was the sound design. I think the video would be much better if I had found a better scream sound for the reveal of the bad guy. I was also really proud of how I used perspective a little bit within the bounds of 2d animation. The Mexican standoff scene turned out better than I had anticipated which was rewarding. Working with stick figures was a good choice for me since I knew I wanted to work with traditional animation styles but I didn't want to spend the whole project working on a couple of different animations. I think the most valuable skill I got out of the project was learning how to use Adobe animate. Previously I had tried to learn the software and been unsuccessful but now I feel like I have the nesscessary skills to use Animate for other projects. The weakest part of my animation was the transition out of and back into reality. Going into this project I think I knew that would be the most difficult part to pull off well, but I decided to put more work into the animation component because I thought even if the transition was weak at least my animation could be good. Overall I had a good time on this project and I'm proud of my work.
