I originally wanted to depict futuristic/dystopian themes with my zine but I was distracted from that at some point. I found it challenging to put together something cohesive, so I ran with whatever I could think of. I like some of these better than others, and I found that the more time I spent on one of these didn't necessarily mean I would like it more. I used a fair bit of illistrator but I probably utilized Photoshop more. I enjoyed trying to get the glow effect in the Vader image, although I could improve on it. The Bull Fight poster took the longest and ended up being what I am most proud of, however, I wish I spread out the time I spent on it working on other images. Toward the end of my work, I started messing with the mosaic filter on Photoshop and I liked the pixel style it gave everything. I used the technique in three images because I felt like spreading them out throughout the zine would give it a more consistent feel. Something to think about in the future would be to choose to have all warm or all cold color-themed images. Mine are pretty split and I think this takes away from the zine. If I were to redo maybe 2 or 3 of these images I think I would be really happy with the final product. In the future, I am going to spread out my time more wisely so that I can be satisfied with the whole product.
